The origins of CO2 Brasserie

CO2 Brasserie is an offering from W Platform.

Created by Matthieu Planté and Jean-Philippe Ricard, this startup offers equipment for capture and recovery of fermentative CO2.

With this offering, W Platform targets brewers to enable them to reuse their fermentary CO2 within their brewery.

For which breweries?

CO2 Brewery is aimed at craft breweries :

  • that produce between 1,000 hl and 300,000 hl,
  • who wish to capture their fermentative CO2 and the reuse through various processes (inerting, carbonation of beer, water gasification…)

Why?

CO2 Brasserie meets a demand from breweries to capture their CO2 from fermentation.

Today, the only solutions on offer are aimed at large industrial breweries, and are costly and complex.

With this offering, CO2 Brasserie aims to democratize CO2 capture in a circular economy logic.
